The WEGENER Creep behavior in tension inspection unit is designated for testing mechanical long-term strength durability of the so-called creep behavior and to determine long-term welding factors of thermoplastics and welding seams.
The long-term welding factors are the basics for calculative dimensioning of constructions from pre-fabricated plastics and structures. The performance features of the unit meet the requirements of the DVS 2203-4 guideline creep behavior tensile test and even considerably exceed the testing precision postulated by this guideline.
The part of the unit in contact with the material is made from specially treated special stainless steel with highest corrosion stability. Bending installation free clamping pliers, external heating without material contact and temperature constancy within a range of +/- 0,2 °C grant for highest solidity and reproducibility of the test results.
