Whether small or large pieces are processed, the digital travel distance measurement and the synchronized belt transmission of the transport system make it a precision machine with great efficiency. The efficiency is greatly enhanced by simultaneous heating and bending when multiple bends are performed in one work piece. By separating the bending function from the heating/transport function, the physical bending of the first leg is performed while the second bend is being heated up. This continuing cycle dramatically decreases the overall process time. The optional vacuum clamping technology enables the production of very small bending geometries. Short set-up times, timer-controlled heating and cooling cycles and the automatic bending process from the opening of the heating system to the end of the cooling time ensure a quality oriented process.
Fully automated production – an easy task The automatic bending and edging machine BM 05 A Process related correction values, which have to be adjusted mechanically at the BM 05, are entered at the operating control panel. The material transport is motorized, and once the material is inserted and the machine programmed, it performs up to four bends fully automatically; no human intervention is necessary. Machine operation is easily performed with our touch screen panel which has found great customer approval in our range of SM butt welding machines.
