The WEGENER KSM was developed as a butt-welding machine to produce thin-walled cylinders. Cylinders with a minimum diameter of 280 mm can be produced from sheets up to 5 mm thick. Clamping beams suspended on one side and an ejection system shorten the working cycle,the cutting device removes the welding flash on both sides during ejection. It goes without saying that the KSM can also be used as a normal butt-welding machine for thinner materials.
