Preform welding machine (FTSM)

Our preform welding machine (FTSM) is based on a universal and modular welding machine concept. The machine has two L-shaped bonding tables that are guided on two common linear systems. The arrangement of the guides and the standard pneumatic drive are chosen in such a way that the guide carriages remain moment-free and the force is introduced into the centre of area of the available bonding zone. This creates the most important mechanical conditions to meet the high requirements on the plane parallelism of the weld. Optionally, the pneumatic drive of the bonding table can be replaced by a single or twin-motor servo-drive.
