Preform welding machine
SM 1220
The Wegener SM1220 moulded part welding machine is used to weld hollow bodies of injection moulded ABS. This system is the first that allows up to 18 ABS modules to be welded together in three rows if necessary. The hollow bodies are clamped with special tools and "grow" towards the left tool carrier by one ABS module after every welding cycle. This guarantees a maximum permissible angular deviation of below +/- 0.1° per weld thanks to the precise guide rails in combination with the proven Wegener parallel mechanism. |
