This special bending machine has mobile mould clamping tools which, in connection with fixed clamping elements and an electromechanical transport system, automatically produce square frames from mouldings.
In order to reduce the thermal load on the thin sections to a minimum, a V-groove is introduced at the relevant bending line into which the heating sword is then inserted. The machine operator can select the appropriate leg length up to a max. of 1,500 mm via the Wegener master computer. Up to five frames can be produced in one working cycle after the system has been loaded. We recommend the use of a section butt-welding machine to produce a closed section.
